Even if the paper with static electricity goes through the embossing process, it is easy to collect the paper unevenly, which brings trouble to the whole paper for the second time. Many objects with static electricity are caused by friction, the electrification of paper is also caused by friction. In paper making, the friction between paper and calender, in printing, the friction between paper and rubber roller and embossing roller It's the cause of static electricity. So, how to eliminate paper static electricity? One of the methods is to store the paper as long as possible after entering the factory. The storage place can be better connected with the printing workshop. The temperature is controlled at 18-25 ℃ and the relative humidity is controlled at 60-70%. The temperature and humidity of the paper warehouse are consistent with those of the printing workshop, which is conducive to the change of the moisture content of the stored paper. The change of paper moisture content is a process of releasing static electricity. Method 2 in the printing process, wet towel is added to the paper receiving part, and the towel stained with water is fixed on the pull rod to make the paper contact with the wet towel when passing by. This is a simple and effective method adopted by many people to eliminate static electricity. Third, when the relative humidity in the workshop is less than 50%, it is easy to generate high static electricity in the process of printing or plate making. Therefore, increasing the relative humidity of the workshop and the moisture content of the paper, especially the indoor relative humidity when drying paper, is helpful to eliminate static electricity. Humidity control equipment can be used to increase indoor relative humidity, and the method of sprinkling water on the ground can be used to increase indoor relative humidity. Humidifier is the main humidifier. An ultrasonic atomizing automatic humidifier is installed on the ceiling or wall of the workshop. When the relative humidity of the room is not up to the requirement, the humidifier will automatically spray out the vapour like water vapor, increase the relative humidity of the room, and automatically stop the spray when the relative humidity of the room reaches the requirement. The fourth method is to use the electrostatic eliminator to neutralize the charge on the charged body with the ions generated by the electrostatic eliminator, so as to achieve the purpose of eliminating static electricity. At present, there are three types of electrostatic eliminator: one is radioactive element eliminator. It uses the ionization of radioisotopes to ionize the air and generate ions to neutralize the static electricity on the charged body. One is an automatic discharge electrostatic eliminator. It uses conductive fiber, conductive rubber or conductive metal materials to make needle like thin wire electrodes and make good contact. It uses the electric field of the charged body to generate corona discharge to generate ions to neutralize the charge on the charged body. There is also an external voltage electrostatic eliminator. It is used to apply high voltage to needle or thin wire electrodes to produce ions due to corona. The fifth method is to use antistatic agent (also known as electrostatic eliminator, eliminator). The principle of antistatic agent is to give paper, film and other charged surface hygroscopic ions, and become hydrophilic, so as to absorb moisture in the air, reduce resistance, increase conductivity, so that static charge is not easy to accumulate. Antistatic agents are mainly surfactants, including hydrophilic group and hydrophobic group (or polar group and non-polar group). The hydrophilic group has strong affinity to water and other polar substances, while the hydrophobic group has strong affinity for oil and other less polar substances. Antistatic agents are widely used in printing, such as making soft cots to prevent static electricity.
