Semi finishing is to make the shaft and plate cylinder keep concentric, some do not need to process shaft parts, but the flange processing on both sides should be the same. Finish machining is to finish turning the outer circle of the cylinder to make it reach the design size. The processing precision of plate cylinder is directly related to the service life of plate cylinder, electroplating and electro engraving effect, and the final product printing quality. After the processing of the plate roller, the wall thickness should be uniform, and the indicators should meet the quality standards. 2. Plate plating the plate cylinder should be fine and the copper layer should be up to standard. The pretreatment should be carried out before copper plating. First, use manual or electrolytic method to remove the oil on the surface of the cylinder. Then acid pickling is carried out on the cylinder, and the rust oxide film on the surface of the cylinder is corroded by chemical agents. Finally, a layer of bottom nickel is plated on the surface of the cylinder. Then, copper plating is very important. The copper layer is the engraving layer of gravure cylinder, and the graphic and text parts of printed matter are completely carved on this layer by electronic engraving machine. The quality of copper plating is directly related to the carving quality of pictures and texts. 3. The grinding process of cylinder grinding plate cylinder is better. The copper plate cylinder needs copper layer surface grinding to make the surface finish of printing plate cylinder reach △ 8 ~ △ 10. Only by grinding well, can the surface finish of plate cylinder be guaranteed. Especially when large area flat screen or excessive net is encountered, if the surface finish of copper layer can not meet the requirements, the printed products will have spots, water marks, grinding tracks and stubble And so on. The quality of electric engraving should reach the standard. In order to ensure the quality of electronic engraving gravure, the size and depth of engraving mesh are specified in the industry standard. However, the size and depth of the mesh hole are affected by the machine type (the shapes of the mesh holes carved by the products of different companies are different), the number of mesh wires, the old and new degree of the carving needle, the angle of the carving head, the thickness of the copper layer and the product quality requirements. Taking 70 thread / cm, 30 degree mesh line angle and 120 degree new engraving needle as an example, the width of the trial engraving mesh hole is 34 ~ 36um in high light and dark Adjust it to 175 ~ 178um.                 . Because the hardness of metal chromium is very high, in HV800 ~ 1000, wear resistance is good, so when the plate cylinder graphics and text production is completed, but also on the copper surface plating a layer of chromium to improve the printing resistance. Chromium loss in printing will not only damage the printing plate, but also bring a lot of waste products to the printing plant, resulting in losses. Therefore, in the inspection of the plate cylinder, pay special attention to whether there is chromium peeling phenomenon on the plate, once found immediately repair, cut not available.
