1. Before printing, it is necessary to compare the gravure trial printing sample sheet provided by the plate making factory with the standard sample sheet provided by the customer to check whether the graphic content of gravure cylinder is consistent with the printing effect. Clean the antirust oil on the plate cylinder before starting the machine, and then carefully check whether there are bumps and sand leaks on the plate, so as to prevent printing waste caused by accidental damage to the plate cylinder. ?
2. When printing, install the scraper blade according to the normal printing speed. Since the scraper can move back and forth to string ink, the intercepted blade is generally 10-20 mm longer than the plate cylinder, so as to clean the ink and prevent the excess ink on both sides of the plate cylinder from printing on the substrate. It is better to adjust the distance between the doctor blade and the support knife to be 4 ~ 6 mm, the distance between the support knife and the knife rest is 10 mm, and the scraper pressure is 2.5 ~ 4.0 kg. ?
3. In the printing process, if the light screen color (i.e. high gloss part of the ink) is difficult to transfer, the angle between the squeegee and the gravure can be appropriately reduced, the printing viscosity of the ink can be reduced, and the contact point between the plate cylinder and the embossing roller and the contact point between the plate cylinder and the doctor blade can be shortened. ?
4. The plate cylinder should be kept indoors. A separate storage room should be established. The indoor temperature should be kept dry and ventilated. The humidity should be below 65%. Acid, alkali and other corrosive articles should not be placed near the cylinder to prevent the chromium coating from being corroded.
5. After printing, the ink on the page, both sides of the plate and on the plate plug should be thoroughly cleaned with solvent to avoid the ink drying and blocking the mesh hole, resulting in the failure of blocking the plate in the next printing. If the ink on the shaft head is dry, it is easy to bring a lot of inconvenience to the last version process. In the process of printing, the ink skin and ink block are deposited in the ink groove, and are finally sandwiched between the scraper and the plate after the ink pump circulation, which will cause printing faults such as "knife line", and scratch the gravure plate in a serious way. ?
6. Due to the low production price of hollow concave plate cylinder, many printing manufacturers use the hollow plate cylinder, but the overprint accuracy of hollow plate cylinder is low and the upper and lower plates are time-consuming and laborious. When removing the hollow cylinder plate shaft, it is necessary to use a special wrench to gently remove it. It is not allowed to directly knock the shaft head with a hammer or a copper bar, so as to avoid deformation and dislocation of the positioning bolts near the shaft head. In addition, in the hollow version of the cylinder or plate shaft, must be in the sealing sleeve or plastic pad evenly coated with a layer of butter, to prevent long-term immersion of ink into the plate, causing internal corrosion of the plate cylinder.
7. In the process of handling the plate cylinder, the operator should wear gloves, wipe off the dirt on the plate surface immediately after handling, and evenly apply anti rust oil (such as engine oil or kerosene) after the plate surface is dry. ?
8. In the process of changing edition or carrying, it is necessary to wear work clothes. It is not allowed to put tools and objects (such as pens, sandpaper for printing or toothpicks) in the pocket of the jacket. It is not suitable to wear a watch during operation. It is necessary to check the buttons and zippers of clothes regularly to prevent them from falling off and cracking and scratching the pictures and texts of the plate cylinder.
