The paper plastic composite is different from the plastic plastic composite and the composite between the plastic film and the aluminum foil. The separation of paper and plastic is mainly manifested by the insufficient peeling strength of the composite film, the dry adhesive, and the separation of the adhesive layer on the paper printed matter and the plastic film.
The paper plastic separation phenomenon is easy to appear in the products with larger printing surface, especially when the ink layer on the surface is thick and the glue is difficult to wet, diffuse and penetrate. In addition, the appearance of paper-plastic separation phenomenon is often related to the smoothness, evenness, water content of the paper, the performance of plastic film, the thickness of printing film, the temperature, pressure and production environment (sanitary conditions, temperature, relative humidity and other factors) when paper and plastic are combined. According to the specific situation of production, targeted measures can be taken to deal with it.
(1) Increase the coating amount of adhesive. If the adhesive is absorbed by the paper and printing ink, and the paper plastic separation caused by insufficient coating amount, the amount of adhesive should be appropriately increased to ensure the composite needs.
(2) When the ink layer is not dry or not completely dry after the printing ink is dry, the residual solvent in the ink layer may consume part of the adhesive, resulting in the insufficient amount of adhesive, resulting in the decrease of the adhesive force, resulting in the separation of paper and plastic. In this case, if the ink is compounded after drying, the problem of separation between paper and plastic layers can be solved.
(3) When the temperature and pressure of lamination are increased and the temperature and pressure are low, the separation between paper and plastic layers may also be caused.
(4) Ensure the surface tension of the plastic film. If the strength of corona treatment on the surface of plastic film is not enough or the storage time after corona treatment is too long, the surface tension of plastic film is insufficient, which is also one of the important reasons for paper-plastic separation. When the separation between the paper and plastic layers occurs, the surface tension of the film should be tested first. If the surface tension is insufficient, the film substrate meeting the requirements should be replaced.
(5) When the air humidity is insufficient, manual humidification is adopted. Because the paper plastic composite uses a single component solvent-free adhesive, if the moisture in the air is insufficient, the paper plastic separation phenomenon will also be caused. At this time, the artificial humidification treatment should be carried out according to the humidity requirements of the processing technology of the single component adhesive.
