Over the years, gravure printing workers basically rely on experience when setting the position and angle of the scraper. No one will check the angle of the scraper. In fact, there is no suitable tool to check the angle of the scraper.
The blade angle of 60 ~ 65 ° is an empirical value. The advantages of using this angle: first, it can reduce the abrasion of the scraper; second, it can use the lowest scraper pressure to achieve the purpose of scraping the ink; third, it can keep the contact area and pressure between the scraper and the printing plate roller as much as possible in the whole printing process (before replacing the scraper next time), so as to ensure the stability of the color difference of the same batch and the same color.
The angle of scraper can be measured by self-made angle gauge.
The method of making angle gauge is very simple: draw an arc on the paper, whose diameter should be consistent with the diameter of the printing plate roller to be measured, and then draw the normal and tangent line of the arc; draw a straight line from the intersection of the normal and tangent line, and the included angle between the straight line and the tangent line is 60 ~ 65 °. Draw a polygon (purple) as shown in Figure 2. The polygon is cut off, pasted on the plastic plate, and processed into the same shape. A scraper angle gauge corresponding to a certain diameter printing plate roller is completed.
As for angle gauges of other diameters, just "draw a ladle according to the gourd".
