2) The glue coated sample block was used for weighing detection. The glue solution on its surface is removed with solvent and wiped clean. Then, the weight of each block is measured on the electronic scale, and the average value is calculated to obtain the gluing amount and the coating area The glue quantity deviation. This method is very reliable as a test method of equipment accuracy.
3) Statistical method was used to determine the amount of glue. This is a practical method in the production site, that is, after counting the composite area (square meters) and the weight (g or kg) of the adhesive used, the corresponding glue amount can be calculated. Although the accuracy of this method is not as high as that of the former two methods, it is generally enough for production management
4) The compound machine parameters were used to simulate and estimate the glue amount. This is a way to estimate the amount of coating by using the parameters of the coating unit (such as the speed ratio of each roller). Because of its high precision and convenient adjustment, it is often used by equipment manufacturers and operators. However, it is an open-loop control mode, and there may be slight differences between the estimated values and the actual values for some sections.
5) The parameters of the mixer were used to estimate the amount of glue applied. This is a way to estimate the amount of glue applied by using the adhesive consumption in the rubber storage barrel of the mixer or the output of the gear pump. Its characteristics are similar to the former one, and it is also indirect measurement, so there is possibility of estimation error in principle.
