Color based reproduction of a manuscript. This kind of manuscript has a wide range of density, rich layers and bright colors. There are more primary colors and intermediate colors in the picture, so the tricolor plate should be reused. On the basis of maintaining the necessary tone, the main tone of the picture should be represented by the primary color plate as much as possible. The gradient is relatively long, the basic color is enough, the opposite color should be appropriate or not, the black plate gradient is relatively short, the amount of background color removal is relatively small, the black plate plays the role of absorption from medium to dark tone, strengthen the level function, stabilize the medium to dark tone color, increase the image contrast, and improve the adaptability of printing. Some of the black tone should be short and shallow (0% ～ 50%), some should be short and moderate (0% ～ 65%) and some should be short and sharp (0% ～ 80%). No matter how much dot area of the black plate is, the starting point is from the middle part, which plays an important role in skeleton and reward. 2. The reproduction of the original with hierarchical or non color as the main body. This kind of manuscript is generally rich in layers, simple and elegant in tone, with non color as the main tone (for example, in traditional Chinese painting, the five inks of focal, thick, heavy, light, and Qing are reflected in light color). The black version should be reused in the reproduction. The main color of the image depends on the black version, and the gray version can be added when necessary. On the basis of meeting the requirements of primary color and inter color, the gradient of three primary color plates is relatively short, and the amount of background color removal is increased correspondingly. This is conducive to plate making and printing, and is conducive to the reproduction of the main color of the image, and preventing the non color tone from yellowing, purple or reddish. According to CY / T23 "classification of manuscript for printing", the original is divided into physical object, painting, photo, electronic manuscript, etc. in the terminology of image manuscript, printed matter is also regarded as original. Each type of original has its own characteristics. Different customers have different requirements when making plates for the same kind of originals. Although the data used in the equipment or software is adjustable, the data used is adjustable, so it is difficult to give quantitative requirements, only specification requirements can be given.
