7 kinds of antistatic packaging materials
1. Antistatic agent treated anti-static packaging materials. In order to reduce the resistance of the original material and improve the conductivity, antistatic agent is used to treat the surface of the packaging material or to carry out deep composite treatment, so as to achieve the purpose of eliminating static electricity. Generally speaking, antistatic agent treatment process is simple, low cost, convenient production, no special requirements for equipment, so it occupies a certain position in actual production. Antistatic agents can be divided into external antistatic agents and internal antistatic agents. The anti-static effect of internal antistatic agent is better than that of external antistatic agent. In the design, firstly, the speed of internal antistatic agent's supplement and migration to the surface should be fully considered; secondly, the package should not be polluted, especially the drugs and food should meet the relevant safety and health standards. 2. Conductive filler filled anti-static packaging material. The so-called conductive filler is a kind of material that can give conductivity. According to their properties, they can be divided into five series, namely metal series, carbon series, metal oxide system, metallized fiber system and organic polymer system. Carbon black system is the most widely used antistatic packaging materials. Acetylene black and high temperature graphitized carbon black are the special envoys. Because of their stable structure, they are not easy to oxidize and easy to form extended chain or network structure in polymer, they can obtain excellent antistatic performance. 3. Coating type anti-static packaging material. In order to form a conductive metal coating on the surface of polymer fillers, electroplating, electroless plating, physical vapor deposition (PVD), chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and thermal spray plating (coating) are commonly used. These processes belong to the field of surface engineering. The most common electroplating technology for polymer materials is plastic electroplating, which includes degreasing, coarsening, sensitization, activation, electroless plating and electroplating. In fact, it is a new technology organically combining polymer materials and electroplating. Common plastic substrates are ABS, PP, PA, PMMA, PC, pet, PVC, etc. 4. Coating type anti-static packaging materials. In this paper, the conductive coating is coated on the surface of insulating polymer materials to form a uniform coating, which endows it with conductive properties and makes it a kind of material with anti-static function. The materials used in this process are coating type anti-static packaging materials. 5. Surface modified antistatic packaging materials. In the process of graft copolymerization, the monomer mixture was irradiated by radiation first, which can make the copolymer obtain good antistatic property. In recent years, if acrylic acid or methacrylic acid are treated by β - ray irradiation, then grafted onto polyethylene or polypropylene, or polyamide is irradiated with gamma ray and then grafted with methacrylic acid, their antistatic properties can be significantly improved. Good antistatic function can also be obtained by treating polymer materials with electron beam and laser. This is mainly due to its good durability, no corrosion, no pollution and excellent performance. It is expected that the consumption will increase sharply in the future. 6. Composite anti-static packaging materials. Composite antistatic packaging materials have been widely used as packaging bags (containers). Its structural characteristics are that there are usually 3-4 barrier shielding layers in the middle (these shielding layers are often made of metallized films and conductive fillers), and the most surface (inner) layer generally uses antistatic agent type anti-static film. This is the mainstream of fashion now, and also the development direction of anti-static packaging bag in the future. 7. Structural conductive polymer materials. Structural conductive polymer material is also called intrinsic conductive polymer material. This is a new type of polymer material. Through the action of its own chemical structure, they make it have the molecular structure of π electron which acts the same as the free electron of metal. The electron movement shows conductivity through π conjugation system, and then doping (such as doping iodine, arsenic pentafluoride, boron pentafluoride, etc.) through chemical methods to increase its conductivity. Polyacetylene is the most cost-effective conductive material. Its bulk resistivity is 1 / 4 of that of steel. It has been used in antistatic varnish and solar cells.
