The samples involved in the supervision and spot check included Gravure plastic film surface printing ink and Gravure plastic film composite ink. The Gravure plastic film composite ink was divided into food and non food packaging ink according to its use. The inspection basis was QB / t1046-2012 and QB / t2024-2012. The detection items included soluble heavy metal elements (including arsenic, antimony, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, selenium eight) Total amount of residual solvents (including acetone, butanone, ethyl acetate, isopropyl acetate, ethanol, isopropanol, butyl acetate, benzene, toluene, xylene, propylene glycol ether, propylene glycol methyl ether), benzene solvent residues and total contents of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, etc.
The results showed that the detection rate of soluble heavy metals was high. The contents of eight kinds of soluble heavy metals in 11 groups of samples can meet the requirements of relevant national standards, but more than half of the samples still have soluble heavy metal elements, such as barium, lead, chromium, etc. The detection of barium in ink may be due to barium compounds such as barium sulfate can be used as raw materials of pigment in ink, and the detection of lead and chromium is also related to the raw materials and production process of ink. The existence of these soluble heavy metal elements in the products should be paid attention to.
All the heavy metals and harmful elements were detected, and some of them were mercury. The total contents of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium in Gravure plastic film surface printing ink and Gravure plastic film composite ink involved in this spot check are all lower than the limit value of 100 mg / kg required by QB / t1046-2012 and QB / t2024-2012 standards. However, all 11 groups of samples were detected for lead. The nature of lead is stable and non degradable, which will hinder the formation of blood cells to a certain extent. When the accumulation of lead in human body to a certain extent, there will be chronic poisoning symptoms, serious cases can also cause brain damage, and children's absorption of lead is several times higher than adults, lead poisoning has a greater impact on children's intelligence. Lead was detected in all samples and mercury was detected in some samples. If it is used in food or non food packaging, it will cause serious harm to human body and environment.
The total amount of residual solvents was detected, and the detection rate of benzene solvents was high. Ethanol, isopropanol, butanone, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, benzene, toluene, xylene and other organic solvents are often used in printing ink. Although most of these organic solvents will be eliminated after drying, the residual parts will still cause harm to human body. In particular, the printing materials with larger ink area and thicker ink layer have more residual solvents, which can pollute the air and endanger people's health. The detection rate of benzene solvent residues was as high as 63.6%.
